Kristin Back osteopath
Kristin gained her Master of Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy in 2011. She has also completed extensive post graduate training in cranial and paediatric osteopathy with the Sutherland Cranial College in the UK and visceral osteopathy with the Barral Institute.
Kristin has a gentle approach to treatment and works with people of all ages. She especially enjoys working with complex and long standing complaints, and has a special interest in treating children, newborn babies, as well as supporting patients during pregnancy and postpartum.
After finding osteopathic treatment beneficial while recovering from her own injury, Kristin became fascinated by the human body’s capacity for change and repair when given the right support. She aims to inspire her patients to understand their own bodies and be proactive in improving their health and well being.
Kristin returned to her native New Zealand in 2017 after working in a variety of clinics in the UK. As well as working in two busy Auckland clinics, Kristin volunteers at the Osteopathic Children’s Foundation in Hamilton, working within a group of osteopaths who volunteer their time to provide free osteopathic treatment for babies and children.
In her leisure time Kristin enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors in a variety of ways including hiking, dinghy sailing, slack-lining, cycling, classic motorcycles and stretching out on her yoga mat or in a pilates class.
